CoveredScars has announced they are in the studio working on the follow-up album to their first Christian Metal album, “What Words Will Do”, entitled “FLINCH” due out this Summer (Release date coming soon). This new album, with an original sound but with influences such as Coal Chamber, StaticX, and Pantera just to name a few, promises to take the sound we loved in “What Words Will Do” to the next level of Hardcore. It will be filled with melodic piano intros, thick bass lines and double bass, completed with heavy hardcore vocals and melodic fill ins in just the right spots! Lyrically, “FLINCH” promises to relate to everyone who has suffered hardships, trials, and tribulations, knowing that Jesus Christ can and will pull you through. As a band, they are very active in reaching out to those who struggle with everything from addiction to the single parent trying to make it, taking them to a higher level of ministry through music.
The band’s lineup consists of very talented guys, who are unashamed of Christ and His influence in their lives and the lyrical content of their music. CoveredScars has Adam Bennett on Guitar and Backup Vocals-Effects, Json O’Brian Eaves on Vocals, Jackie Cox on Drums, and Russ “MoJo” Wise on Bass.
