Legendary rocker Alice Cooper will play at London, England’s legendary 100 Club on Oxford Street on June 26, with tickets going on sale this Friday.

Says Alice: “It’s been a while since we played such an intimate venue, but strip away the theatrics and we are a pedal-to-the-metal rock band, born in clubs like the 100 Club. We play every show like that anyway and it will be fantastic to reconnect in that atmosphere. This show comes with a health warning — ‘We don’t do acoustic, this will be loud.”

According to The Independent, Cooper will release his new album, “Welcome 2 My Nightmare”, in the U.K. in September as a magazine with high production values and assorted merchandise (a format that is being dubbed “The Fan Pack”) and as an iPad app with exclusive video interviews. The content of both products will be edited by Cooper himself. The album’s official physical release will follow in mid-October, when Alice will perform a major show in London.

“Welcome 2 My Nightmare” features the original “Nightmare” tandem of Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner, with Vince Gill guesting on a track called “Runaway Train”. In addition, surviving Cooper band members Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith appear on the song “When Hell Comes Home”.
