Detroit technical death metal act, AS THEY SLEEP, has teamed up with Noisecreep.com to premiere a brand new track from the band’s forthcoming Solid State Records debut, Dynasty, entitled “Bedlam at the Nile”. The third track to be unleashed from Dynasty – a concept album about the rise and fall of empires throughout history – “Bedlam at the Nile” focuses on the plights that hindered and eventually fell ancient Egypt. Dynasty is slated to hit stores on November 22nd, and delivers a package of brutally heavy and savagely technical death metal tied together with the help of powerhouse audio wizard, Jason Suecof (All That Remains, Chimaira, Demon Hunter).
Two other songs from Dynasty, “Oracle of the Dead” and “To the Republic”, are currently streaming on the band’s official MySpace and Facebook pages.
As They Sleep will support their sophomore effort on the road this December on the “Solid State Records: A Very Metal Christmas Tour”, alongside label-mates Living Sacrifice, The Showdown, Becoming the Archetype, and To Speak of Wolves.
