North Carolina metalcore band BLOODLINE SEVERED has released a new single titled “Countdown to Desecration” off of their yet untitled follow up to their 2009 debut “Visions Revealed“.
Currently, they are in the studio with Jamie King (Basement Studios, Between the Buried and Me, For Today) recording their second full length record. The album that is being recording now is the most passionate record they have ever written in the band’s 7-year tenure. Everything has been well thought-out musically and lyrically. It fuses their various stylistic influences from different genres like hardcore, death metal, progressive metal, and technical metal into a style all their own. “…But the most important thing to me is the message behind this music: IT IS the most personal, most in-your-face record we have ever written lyrically and I would have it no other way,” says Corey.
