Aurora, Illinois based F.O.G., the Black Sabbath inspired metal band has announced that they have broken up.
Dave Miller the band’s vocalist is quoted as following:
“Official reason would be that we are just old and tired! ;-) Seriously brother there was such a wrestling match with what we were doing that after ten years it was time. Really tough when the believers don’t really support you cuz your too intense and the other side see’s the Christian label and generally runs. We made some serious inroads in the hardcore biker community and we continue to see the fruit of those relationships so we as always would appreciate your prayers for the doors that have been opened and that we would continue to shine the light of the Gospel wherever HE allows us to!”
