Tourniquet is busy recording a new studio album, the long awaited follow up to 2003′s Where Moth and Rust Destroy. Below you can read a new album update by Ted Kirkpatrick (drums).

“We are set to begin recording the rest of the album (guitars, bass, vocals, etc. ) in Wisconsin starting August 31. All song titles and lyrics are ready to go – even the album title…”
Tourniquet raised the funds to record their new album via the website Kickstarter. Kickstarter allows for fans to pledge funds to a project, and the project is only funded if they reach a set goal by the end of the campaign. Tourniquet managed to fund their project with fans pledging $28,475.
