Torbjörn Weinesjö of doom metal band VENI DOMINE recently posted the following update on the happenings around the VENI DOMINE camp:
“Me, Fredrik and Thomas are working since last fall with new songs, mostly me and Fredrik meet and share ideas, recording demos, arranging….rearranging…and then some rearranging ha ha ha. Thomas will stop by and give thumbs up or thumbs down or just stay silent. The preprod time on this cd already is way more than the last few ones and we will do it until we find something worth putting on a disc. We’re looking for a new way to approach our idealsound that works well with Fredriks voice and gives us the abyss depth and the shimmering glimpse of heaven. It’s funny how we still approach the ideas in the same way we did back in late 80’s but with a different outcome, let’s see what happens, we have no deadline for this, we just wanna get back to have a good time using our gifts in the best way. Currently we have like 14 songs. ”
VENI DOMINE released their latest album “Tongues” in September of 2007.
