UK Doom monsters MY SILENT WAKE has checked in with the following update about the band’s live show lineup and announcement about writing new music:
“Hi to everyone! We have a couple of gigs coming up so far this year on the 23rd April in Nottingham and the 29th May in Weston-super-Mare. I will post details in the gig guide.
“Andi now has to spend a lot more time abroad with his new job, so playing in MSW is impossible for him right now. Steve is still very involved with his new job and Jasen decided to leave the band last year, but hopes to guest on future recordings. Lots of big changes in MSW right now, but we plan to continue as normally as we can. The live line-up will be Kate, me and Tank. We also hope to have Mike from The Drowning playing with us as much as possible. A friend of mine called Marc was to be filling in for Andi but unfortunately he found he did not have the time to commit to the band.
“New songs are being written by me and Kate and we hope to record some acoustic songs soon and a full album later in the year. A compilation of live and rare material is planned for release on Dark Meadow in the summer. Thanks for supporting us!”

I love this news. MSW is one of my favorite bands of the last 10 years and I hope they continue to record for years to come.
