Fit For A King: Creation | Destruction
4 out of 5
By: Tom Metcalf

With so many Metalcore and Hardcore bands in the industry how do you keep up with them all? Well, you can tune into Untombed.com for starters (Plug), and you can also do your research. In my search for new up-coming bands, I came across “Fit for a King” (FFAK). I sampled some of their music and then watched their newer video for “Hollow King (Sound of the End)”. I found myself very impressed with their sound; intense screaming with some clean vocals mixed in, plus, great guitar and double-bass riffs round off what is I found to be a really good band!

‘Creation | Destruction’ was recently released to the masses and according to www.thearteryfoundation.com, Solid State Records reported that FFAK had the highest Debut sales figure than any other band has had on their label. That’s pretty impressive seeing that bands like Demon Hunter, Underoath and August Burns Red are also on Solid State Records. .

I’ve been listening to this album a lot and still can’t stop listening to it after listening to something else. I just keep going back to it. Yes, it’s that good! This band stands out in a crowd and delivers the goods under its proclamation as a Christian Metalcore band. Songs like “Destruction” which calls Satan out as a Backstabber, and “Hollow King (Sound of the End)” will not disappoint.

Take the time to check out Fit For A King if you’re into Metalcore, and if you’re not, then check them out anyways! You can’t go wrong when the message of God and positivity are being Kranked Loud & Clear! Just play it loud when you do!
