Limited to 1000 free-downloads.”Since July 2012, I have been working on the new material that was meant to be for the upcoming 2015 Kekal full-length album, with Leo working his own parts in-parallel. But however, some compositions turned out to be a bit out-of-place with the rest of the album’s general concept. That was my fault, because I got sick & tired of the radio that plays the same boring music over & over again here through the central speakers in the office where I work. So for the sake of maintaining my own sanity, I had to create a musical remedy in the form of some less structure-bound, almost generative, free-flow, ‘jazzier’ compositions.Of course, Kekal has always been very diverse in nature, but to me cohesiveness is also important in order to maintain an adventurous listening experience. This led me on a decision to release a 5-track download-only EP much earlier – separately, to cater some of the compositions that are deemed too ‘far-out’ from the rest of the music for the upcoming full-length album, even if they sound unmistakably Kekal. The upcoming 2015 full-length album will have more metallic, rockier, traditional guitar-based songs with vocals, hooks, riffs, you name it….I also would love to make this EP release as an ultimate anticipation to the upcoming full-length album, so you will find one track called “Dividend in Division” that will also be on the album. The remaining 4 tracks are exclusive to the EP. Leo and I will continue to work throughout the 2014 to finish the planned 2015 album, and most likely, there will be another EP released in 2014. So stay tuned!

Nonetheless, hope you enjoy this EP (it’s free download!) and feel free to follow me on Twitter @spitonself and let me know what you think about the music on the EP.”
